The University of Nottingham Gliding Club welcomes any University of Nottingham student or staff member to come and learn to fly. We offer some of the most affordable flying in the country, with flights starting from just £7.50 and free instruction provided.
Gliding offers a great opportunity to get hands on with aircraft, which is particularly fantastic for Aerospace students to reinforce content and learn outside of the course- although we are open to students from all courses. There are opportunities to learn about or getting involved with the maintenance of club aircraft, offering a practical insight into this side of aviation in the real world outside the lecture hall.
